CRESTON, Iowa - The Creston City Council updated its current electric franchise with Interstate Power and Light.
City Administrator Mike Taylor told KXCV/KRNW that the city council adopted a new ordinance that grants Insterstate the power to maintain electrical operations within the city.
Another big item on the agenda was an application approval for the Creston Municipal Airport to receive partial federal assistance.KXCV-KRNW
